Are you an experienced and passionate SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a dedicated SEND TA to join their team for the 2025/26 academic year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference, supporting pupils with special educational needs to thrive both academically and socially. The successful candidate will be patient, proactive, and confident in providing tailored support to children with a range of needs.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND across the primary age range

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons

• Help manage behaviour consistently, creating a positive and safe learning environment

• Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families to support pupil progress

• Encourage independence, confidence, and a love of learning in all pupils

• Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs (essential)

• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills

• Ability to adapt learning support to meet a range of needs and abilities

• A nurturing, patient approach with a genuine passion for education
