We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Teaching Assistant to join our team on a short-term basis to cover staff sickness. This is a full-time role supporting pupils with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring they have access to a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEN.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored educational activities.
• Support pupils with personal care, mobility, and communication needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and promote positive interactions.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff.

• Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s development.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
