We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1-2-1 and whole class support at a wonderful Special Needs School near central Birmingham.This lovely Special School caters to children with a primary diagnosis of Autism and is looking for a Teaching Assistant to deliver personalised 1-2-1 support in a Key Stage 2 class. As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with previous experience supporting children with additional needs, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success and well-being of these students.Working alongside a welcoming and experienced team of Teaching and support staff, you will have the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of these young learners. The leadership at the school is exceptional, and they take pride in providing a nurturing and inclusive environment. This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a passionate Teaching Assistant who loves what they do.Job Role:
  • Providing 1-2-1 support within small classes of Key Stage 2 children with additional needs
  • Demonstrating a good understanding of a range of additional needs
  • Working as a Classroom Assistant/Teaching Assistant
  • Engaging in whole school activities to create a fun and beneficial learning environment
  • Breaking down barriers to communication and effectively managing behaviours
