Reed Education is seeking tutors with SEN (Special Educational Needs) experience to join our team. This role involves designing and delivering catch-up programs for young learners in either 1:1 settings or small groups. Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and implement effective catch-up programs tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups.
- Work closely with students with special educational needs, assessing their progress and adapting programs as necessary.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to the student's education.
- Provide regular feedback on student progress and participate in meetings with educational teams.
- Maintain accurate records of student development and program effectiveness.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a tutor or teacher, specifically with SEN students.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with special educational needs.
- Ability to design and deliver educational programs effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient and compassionate approach, with a strong commitment to enhancing student learning.
