• Location: Hybrid (2 days in office: Wednesday & Thursday — flexible), LS1, Leeds

Join our dynamic transport operations team in a role that supports pupils with special educational needs. Each summer, we prepare for the busy school term by coordinating bespoke transport arrangements for over 1,000 pupils, adapting to their unique needs. As the school year begins, the role becomes more operational, focusing on daily logistics and immediate problem-solving.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Prepare and update individualised transport contracts based on pupil needs.
• Tender transport requirements with private operators and manage communications.
• Handle daily phone calls regarding route changes, delays, or no-shows.
• Update systems and spreadsheets to reflect real-time changes.
• Process invoices and reconcile payments at month-end.
• Prioritise and manage workload in a dynamic, reactive environment.
• Maintain clear communication with operators to ensure smooth service delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong administrative and customer service background.
• Previous experience in transport coordination or call centre support is highly beneficial.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and confident with data entry.
• Highly organised with an ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Task-focused, dependable, and able to hit the ground running.
