Teaching Assistants - Full-Time

Location: Medway Towns

Pay: £89 to £95 per day

Our client schools in the Medway Towns are seeking multiple experienced and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join them. If you're passionate about supporting young people and making a real difference in their lives, these roles could be the ideal opportunity for you.

• Specialise in complex needs, including ASD and Asperger's.

• Cater to students aged 11 to 19 (mixed gender).

• The behaviour of the children can be quite challenging and so we would need you to have good behaviour management

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND.

• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, families, and external professionals.

• Ability to manage workload efficiently and prioritise tasks.

• Compassionate, patient, and genuinely committed to student wellbeing.

• Awareness of support services and relevant education legislation, including safeguarding and data protection.

• Willingness to travel up to an hour for work within the Medway Towns.

• Legal right to work in the UK.

• Experience in a SEND environment is highly desirable.

• Ability to provide personal care support (toileting and feeding) when required.

• Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and a proactive approach.

• Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain all necessary clearances.

• Hold (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the update service.
