Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the B75 area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to provide both 1:1 support and small group interventions, helping pupils build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their learning goals.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting pupils with SEN needs in both 1:1 and small group sessions
- Assisting with personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
- Promoting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
- Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
- Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary school
- A patient, adaptable, and caring nature
- Confidence in managing learning and behaviour support strategies
- Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team
- A valid DBS and two references (or willingness to obtain these)
