SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Sutton Coldfield (B75)Day Rate: £105 - £115 per dayContract: Full-time, long-termHours: Monday to Friday, Term Time OnlyStart Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in the B75 area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to provide both 1:1 support and small group interventions, helping pupils build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their learning goals.

What You'll Be Doing

• Supporting pupils with SEN needs in both 1:1 and small group sessions
• Assisting with personalised learning plans and targeted interventions
• Promoting positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation
• Collaborating with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored support
• Creating a safe, nurturing environment where every child can thrive

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience supporting SEN pupils in a primary school
• A patient, adaptable, and caring nature
• Confidence in managing learning and behaviour support strategies
• Willingness to work as part of a collaborative team
• A valid DBS and two references (or willingness to obtain these)
