Long Term Futures are working with an inclusive and welcoming primary school, who are seeking a passionate and dependable SEND Teaching Assistant to work with either KS1 or KS2. You'll be working alongside staff supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs. The focus for this role will be on 1:1 support.

Your Responsibilities:

• You will support pupils with varied send needs including communication, cognition and sensory needs.
• You will work collaboratively with the lead teacher in the room to deliver tailored interventions.
• You will provide 1:1 and small group support, focusing on engagement and progress.
• You will foster a positive, nurturing learning space where pupils feel safe and supported.
• You will help manage transitions and daily routines effectively.

Requirements

• Experience supporting children with SEND, either in a school or care setting.
• A calm, flexible and patient approach.
• Confidence working across different age groups within a small setting.
• A genuine passion for inclusive education.
