Teaching Assistant – SEMH Support

?? What You’ll Be Doing

• Deliver tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
• Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and adapt learning strategies
• Create a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment that fosters growth and connection
• Lead and assist in engaging activities that spark motivation and build confidence
• Track progress, celebrate wins, and share insights with staff and families
• Take part in ongoing training to sharpen your skills and deepen your impact

�? What You’ll Bring

• Experience working with children or young adults, especially those with SEMH needs
• A strong understanding of the emotional and behavioural challenges students may face
• Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build trust
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping students thrive
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is a plus
