SEN Teaching Assistant - Reeson Education : Job Details

Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across primary schools in Waltham Forest. Starting in September 2025, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference in children's lives.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll be working with children who have needs such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You'll provide tailored support 1:1 and in small groups, helping pupils build confidence and achieve their full potential.

• Daily pay: £82.14 - £100

• Full-time, term-time only role

• Work across schools in Leyton, Walthamstow, and Chingford

• Support pupils with SEN in EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classrooms

• Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted support

• Have experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children in SEN settings

• Show patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach

• Be adaptable and proactive in managing behaviour and learning needs

• Have an enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply)
