Milk Education are recruiting for a compassionate and resilient SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive Secondary School in Havering. • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs both in and outside of lessons

• Promoting inclusion, acceptance, and emotional wellbeing across the school

• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils to encourage engagement

• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to adapt lessons and provide tailored support

• Recent experience working with children or young people, ideally in an SEMH or SEN setting

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships

• Relevant qualification (Level 2/3 in Childcare, Teaching Assistant, Youth Work, or equivalent) or hands-on experience

• Patience, resilience, and the ability to respond calmly to challenging behaviour
