A supportive and inclusive school in the BS16 area of Bristol is seeking a compassionate and adaptable SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. You will work closely with the class teacher and provide one-to-one support to a child with special educational needs, helping them thrive both academically and socially.

• Support the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and engaging activities.
• Build a trusting, consistent relationship with the child.
• Cater to the individual needs of the child, promoting comfort and confidence.
• Encourage social development and independence.
• Prepare the child for routine changes using clear, concise communication.
• Follow the daily lesson plan and help the child complete tasks successfully.

• Patient, empathetic, and reliable.
• Experience with or strong interest in working with children with SEN.
• Comfortable adapting to changing needs and routines.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Working with Long-term Teachers:

We are an independent agency working with Nurseries, Primary, Secondary and Special Schools.
