The RoleWe are seeking a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant to:
Provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping pupils access lessons and build confidence
Implement individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies
Assist with communication and personal care needs where required
Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff to deliver a joined-up approach
Celebrate progress - whether it's academic achievement, improved communication or developing life skills
Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work or care settings)
Understanding of SEN strategies such as PECS, Makaton or sensory approaches (desirable but not essential)
Resilience, patience and enthusiasm to make a real difference
Willingness to undertake training (all provided) in behaviour support and safeguarding
