• Offer personalised 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.
• Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities, supporting pupils during transitions and daily routines.
• Help pupils regulate their behaviour and emotions, encouraging positive interactions and social skills.
• Contribute to formal SEND assessments and share insights with families and home schools to facilitate a swift return to long-term education settings.
• Collaborate effectively with other teaching assistants, teachers, and support staff to enhance the learning experience.
