Day-to-day of the role:
- Offer personalised 1:1 assistance to pupils with special educational needs, adapting teaching techniques to foster their confidence and independence.
- Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver activities, supporting pupils during transitions and daily routines.
- Help pupils regulate their behaviour and emotions, encouraging positive interactions and social skills.
- Contribute to formal SEND assessments and share insights with families and home schools to facilitate a swift return to long-term education settings.
- Collaborate effectively with other teaching assistants, teachers, and support staff to enhance the learning experience.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
