Randstad Education is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive school in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a rewarding role where your support will truly count.
Preferred Skills:
- Minimum 6 months of experience working with children or young people (ideally in a school or SEN setting).
- Calm, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
- Eligibility to work in the UK and references from recent employers.
- Should be able to work long-term full-time, 5 days a week, between 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of Special needs.
- Assist the teacher with different classroom activities.
- Support classroom routines, behaviour management, and personal care when necessary.
- Encourage student participation and build their confidence.
- Develop positive relationships with pupils, teachers, and parents.
