Full-Time SEN Support Role – Primary School – Cambridge – September Start

This full-time position involves working 1:1 with pupils in a mainstream primary school setting, often within a dedicated SEN provision. You’ll play a key role in delivering personalised support to children with a range of additional needs.

• Experience supporting individuals with SEN (in either child or adult settings)
• Qualifications in education, behaviour support, care, residential work, or social work
• Confidence in creating and adapting behaviour and learning support plans
• Experience with Autism, ADHD, sensory processing needs, or learning disabilities
• A calm, proactive approach to emotionally demanding situations
• A full UK driving licence or reliable access to public transport
• An Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

• Deliver tailored learning support plans in 1:1 or small group settings
• Encourage classroom participation and inclusive learning
• Implement effective behaviour management strategies
• Support pupils with emotional regulation and independence
• Collaborate with staff, parents, and external professionals to ensure consistent care and development
