Teaching Assistant Location: Kettering, NorthamptonshirePosition: SEN Teaching AssistantSalary: £90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only - temp to perm options availableStart Date: September 2025 Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Kettering.About the Role:As an SEN TA, you will be working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils with a range of additional needs in a mainstream setting, including autism (ASC), ADHD and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. You will help deliver tailored interventions and provide 1:1 or small group support to ensure every child can access the curriculum and thrive.Key Responsibilities:-Supporting pupils with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small groups-Adapting learning resources and strategies to meet individual needs-Working collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionals-Promoting independence, confidence, and inclusion-Providing emotional and behavioural support when requiredRequirements:-Previous experience working with children with SEN (school, nursery, care, or youth work background considered)-A calm, patient and empathetic nature-Excellent communication and teamwork skills-A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs-Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)Please apply with an up to date CV Aspire People Limited provides services as an Education Agency and an Education Employment Business.
