We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Location: Hammersmith, South East LondonStart Date: September 2025Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to FridaySalary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Support the learning and emotional development of pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or group basis
Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
Implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans
Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents
We are looking for candidates with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), whether in a school or care setting. A strong understanding of the needs of children with autism and other learning difficulties is essential. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with both children and staff.
