This well-established and highly regarded school caters for students aged 11–19 with a range of special educational needs, including autism spectrum conditions, moderate learning difficulties, and associated communication and sensory needs. The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support students in both classroom and small group settings
• Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and individual learning plans
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
• Help create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
• Use a range of communication strategies and sensory approaches tailored to individual needs

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN (essential)
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to adapt to different needs and settings
• Additional training or qualifications in areas such as autism, Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach (desirable)
