SEN Teaching Assistants - Barking & Dagenham

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join specialist and mainstream schools with SEN provisions across Barking & Dagenham. These roles are ideal for professionals who have a strong background in supporting students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.

Your Role Will Include:

• Assisting classroom teachers in delivering differentiated lessons
• Supporting individual pupils or small groups with EHCPs
• Helping pupils develop social skills, confidence, and emotional regulation
• Maintaining a safe and structured learning environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN
• Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing approach
• Understanding of visual aids, sensory strategies, or learning interventions
