SEN Teaching Assistant - Reed : Job Details

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide support to teachers in delivering tailored educational programs.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support students with their social and emotional development.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students.

Requirements:

• Direct or transferable experience working with children, preferably in a special needs setting.
• A genuine passion for supporting the educational and personal development of children with special needs.
• Ideally, possess a DBS on the update system. If not, must be willing to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Additional training such as British Sign Language is desirable
