• Salary: £12.82+/hour

• Job Type: Permanent, Term-time only (35 hours per week, 39 weeks per year)

Meadowbank Special School is seeking two dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our supportive and dynamic team. • Support the educational and personal development of pupils with a range of complex learning needs and speech and language difficulties.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing and effective learning environment.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and materials to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Monitor and report on pupil progress, adapting strategies as needed.
• Contribute to the school’s culture of mutual support and strive for excellence in all aspects of your work.

• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in a special educational needs setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate initiative.
• Commitment to the safeguarding and protection of all children and vulnerable adults.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check clearance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A supportive and nurturing approach to education.
• Ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable but not essential.
