We are seeking a skilled, patient, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and successful special school. This role is an excellent career opportunity for individuals passionate about supporting children with Special Education Needs (SEN).

Day to Day of the role:Provide tailored support to children with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.Work closely with teachers to plan and deliver effective learning activities.Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.Monitor and support the progress and development of pupils.Encourage positive learning behaviour and help maintain high expectations for all children.Contribute to the assessment and review of pupils’ progress.Facilitate small group activities and one-to-one support where necessary.Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications:NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant area.Prior experience working with children with Special Education Needs.A patient and caring approach, with the ability to engage and motivate students.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to inclusive education and the school’s ethos of high expectations for all.Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive working culture.
