We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher to join a team at a specialist SEN school in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, on a permanent, full-time basis.

This school supports children and young people with a range of special educational needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health needs. They take a child-centred approach to teaching, creating personalised, meaningful learning experiences that empower every pupil to grow both academically and personally.

• Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with SEN
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, therapists, and other professionals
• Promote the emotional wellbeing, social development, and independence of each child
• Monitor and report on pupil progress and contribute to reviews and planning meetings
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience in or a strong interest in SEN education
• A nurturing, flexible approach to teaching and behaviour management
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• A commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding practices
