SEN Teaching Assistant in Liverpool

Are you a proactive and caring individual looking to make a real difference in a student's life? We are recruiting a reliable and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN department in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

Your Responsibilities & Required Skills:

• Provide direct support to students with special educational needs in both class activities and one-on-one sessions.
• Promote student engagement and contribute to their emotional well-being.
• Keep accurate records of student behaviour and development.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
• Build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.

Qualifications You'll Need:

• A minimum of 6 months of experience assisting children with SEN in a UK classroom setting.
• A valid Enhanced DBS check (registered or willing to obtain).
• The legal right to work in the UK.
• Availability Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
• A strong commitment to inclusive education and personal growth.
