We’re on the lookout for a compassionate, resilient, and proactive SEMH Teaching Assistant who’s ready to make a real difference in the lives of neurodiverse learners. This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling.

• Deliver tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

• Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)

• Create a nurturing space where students feel safe, valued, and empowered

• Help design and lead engaging, motivational learning activities

• Track progress and share meaningful feedback with staff and families

• Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour with empathy

• Take part in ongoing training to deepen your understanding of SEMH

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role (SEMH experience preferred)

• A strong grasp of the emotional and behavioural challenges students may face

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A calm, caring, and professional approach—even under pressure
