?? What You’ll Be DoingDeliver tailored support to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Collaborate with teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Create a nurturing space where students feel safe, valued, and empowered
Help design and lead engaging, motivational learning activities
Track progress and share meaningful feedback with staff and families
Use de-escalation strategies to manage challenging behaviour with empathy
Take part in ongoing training to deepen your understanding of SEMH
Experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role (SEMH experience preferred)
A strong grasp of the emotional and behavioural challenges students may face
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A calm, caring, and professional approach—even under pressure
