SEN Teaching Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a school or a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU). You’ll be passionate about supporting children with various special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to students with ADHD, ASD, and other SEN.
• Collaborate with teachers to create individualized learning plans.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Assist students in accessing the curriculum and achieving their potential.
• Support transitions and social-emotional development.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a school or PRU setting.
• Familiarity with various types of SEN.
• Excellent communication and empathy skills.
• Ability to adapt and tailor support to individual student needs.
