Reed Education are working closely with a Multi-Academy Trust and are actively recruiting Teaching Assistants for their Primary schools based in Leeds to work on a short-term basis. We are looking for motivated and flexible SEN Teaching Assistants just like you to be a part of our schools.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be patient and willing to build relationship with children• Have an empathetic nature• Be able to use initiative• Have over 2 years of experience in Primary Schools• Have experience working with children who have challenging behaviour• A good understanding of Autism and other needs• An ability to build good working relationships with both pupils and adults

The role will include but is not limited:

• Getting the classroom ready for lessons• Listening to children read, reading to them, or telling them stories• Helping children who need extra support to complete tasks• Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete records• Supporting teachers in managing class behaviour• Supervising group activities• Looking after children who are upset or have had accidents
