SEN Nurture Teacher KS4 - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

Exciting job opportunity for a Nurture Teacher to work with KS4 pupils with complex needs at one of our schools in the Mitcham area.

Position: Nurture TeacherLocation: Mitcham areaContract: Full-time, on-site at one of our complex needs schoolsKey Stage: Primarily KS4Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (to be confirmed)Salary: Paid according to teaching scale (£180 - £240 per day)

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement nurturing strategies to support the social and emotional needs of KS4 pupils with complex needs* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the individual needs of students, focusing on academic and personal development* Create a safe and inclusive learning environment conducive to positive behaviour management* Collaborate with colleagues, SENCOs, and support staff to ensure the holistic development of students* Maintain accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievements* Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and other professional development activities as required

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)* Experience or willingness to work with students with behaviour difficulties and complex needs* Understanding of SEN, particularly complex needs* Possession of an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
