Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?Do you have experience working with pupils with severe autism, challenging behaviours, and providing personal care?

Remedy Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to join a warm and inclusive SEN school in Lewisham this September. The school supports children and young people with a range of complex needs, and is looking for staff who are confident, compassionate, and ready to make a positive impact in the classroom.

• Supporting students with severe autism and complex learning difficulties in a classroom-based environment

• Assisting with personal care, including toileting and hygiene

• Supporting pupils with mobility needs, including wheelchair hoisting (training can be provided)

• Helping to manage harmful or challenging behaviour in a calm, supportive way

• Working closely with teaching staff and therapists to help students achieve their individual goals

• Previous experience working in a SEN setting or similar environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Calm, patient and resilient in challenging situations

• Comfortable with personal care and mobility support

• Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
