About the Role:We are seeking four dedicated and compassionate Learning Mentors to join a vibrant and supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Lymm. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a range of additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities and interventions
- Support pupils’ emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
Essential Requirements:
- A recognised Childcare or Teaching Assistant qualification
- A resilient and patient approach to working with children with complex needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
Desirable:
- Previous experience working in a SEN setting
- Knowledge of strategies for supporting children with autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs
