• Students are between the ages of 3 and 11

The opportunity:

• Supporting the students with their needs alongside helping them manage their diagnosis
• Ensuring the classroom is a fun and engaging environment
• Helping the children manage and process their emotions
• Managing any meltdowns by redirection
• Facilitating any interventions
• Supporting the class teacher
• Supervising the classroom

What you need to succeed as a SEN Classroom Assistant:

• A positive attitude
• Be enthusiastic, kind and compassionate
• Interest in mental health and helping children live their best life
• The ability to take initiative well
• A enhanced DBS check - don't worry if you do not have this, we can facilitate your application
