Semi-Senior Accountant – Part-Qualified | Leigh-on-Sea | £36,000

A well-established and respected firm based in Leigh-on-Sea is seeking a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an accounts-focused role ideal for someone progressing through their ACCA/ACA studies and eager to build on their experience in practice.

• Preparing year-end accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
• Supporting senior staff with client queries and ad hoc projects
• Liaising directly with clients to build strong working relationships
• Using cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks)

• Part-qualified ACCA/ACA with at least 2 years’ experience in practice
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Confident communicator with a proactive attitude
• Experience with cloud accounting software is desirable
