Semi Senior Accountant - Reed : Job Details

Accounts Semi Senior – Join a Growing, Supportive Practice! �?Permanent£25-30k  

This role is based on site 5 days a week. 9-5.30pm

As an Accounts Semi Senior, you’ll play a key role in supporting a varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs, sole traders, and partnerships. You’ll be involved in:

• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for portfolio of clients - SMEs up to £1 million turnover 
• Assisting with management accounts and VAT returns
• Preparing and filing Corporation tax 
• Supporting junior team members and reviewing their work
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong relationships
• Working closely with senior staff on ad hoc projects and audits (if applicable)

• Part-qualified ACA/ACCA or AAT Level 4 (or equivalent experience)
• Previous accounts prep experience in a UK accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Xero)
• Experience using CCH for Yearend accounts production 
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude
