A popular accountancy group are recruiting for a Semi Senior Accountant to join their Preston office on a full time, permanent basis. As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll play a key role in supporting client portfolios, working closely with senior staff, and developing your skills in a dynamic environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements to a high standard.
• Supporting the preparation of self-assessment tax returns.
• Helping clients adopt and use cloud-based bookkeeping software.
• Guiding and supporting junior team members with day-to-day tasks.
• Contributing to our community initiatives, from local events to charity support.

Experience with IRIS and XERO would be ideal!

Semi Senior Accountant Job Requirements

• At least 2 years hands on experience in a UK accountancy firm
• AAT Qualified or Part-qualified or newly qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent), - study support available!
• Solid knowledge of accounting, tax, and financial reporting processes.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, or QB
• Enthusiasm for community involvement and a willingness to learn and collaborate

• £25,000 - £32,000 dependant on skills and experience
