Job Overview

We are looking for an accountant to join a highly dynamic environment in a well-established accountancy practice. The duties of the role include the production of accounts and tax computations from client's books and records, the analysis of financial information, liaising directly with clients to ensure their needs are fulfilled, processing all types of financial information as well as the generation of financial statements.

Our ideal candidate would have prior experience in the duties of the role, and be working towards professional qualification.

Main duties include:

• Preparation of financial statements and tax computations (from source records) for review Liaising directly with clients
• Assist with audit assignments
• Assist in maintaining compliance for all clients across a variety of categories.
• Book-keeping assistance where necessary.
• General adhoc administration (expected with any office role

Qualifications/Skills:

• Any candidate would require use/access to their own vehicle due to the location of our offices
• A good working knowledge of accountancy software (eg. Sage/Xero/Quickbooks and ideally CCH)
• Experience working in practice
• Computer literate (Including proficiency in Excel & Word)
• Experience with accounts production
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good organisational skills
