Our client is an accountancy practice based in Ingatestone, currently seeking a Part Qualified ACCA or ACA Semi-Senior Accountant, ideally with audit experience to join their friendly team.Our client is a small but well-established accountancy practice that has been serving clients in Ingatestone and the surrounding areas for over a decade. With a diverse client portfolio, including small businesses, start-ups, and individuals, they provide a stimulating and supportive work environment that encourages personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments for a range of clients.- Conduct testing and verification of financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.- Prepare financial statements, management accounts, and tax computations for clients.- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and address queries professionally.- Provide support to senior team members in various accountancy and audit-related tasks.- Participate in client meetings, offering valuable insights and recommendations for financial improvements.- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements:- Part Qualified ACCA or ACA with demonstrable progress toward completion, study support package available- Previous experience in an accountancy practice, ideally working on audit assignments.- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing techniques, and financial reporting.- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office suite.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an eye for detail.- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to build rapport with clients and team members.- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.- A proactive and positive attitude, eager to learn and grow within the field of accountancy.
