As a SEMH Teacher, you'll play a pivotal role in providing tailored support and guidance to students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.

About the Role:

  • Design and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes emotional well-being and builds confidence.
  • Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to ensure holistic support for students.
  • Utilize creative teaching methods and resources to engage students and facilitate their academic and personal growth.
  • Monitor student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly to maximize learning outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience working with SEMH students preferred.
  • Strong understanding of SEMH challenges and effective strategies for supporting students.
  • Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
