Your role will focus on building strong, trusting relationships and promoting positive behaviour and emotional resilience in and outside the classroom.

  • Implementing behaviour strategies and interventions as part of individual behaviour support plans

  • Promoting pupil self-esteem, engagement, and independence

What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges
  • A calm, patient, and trauma-informed approach
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork
  • A willingness to undertake relevant training (Team Teach, safeguarding, etc.)
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Youth Work, Psychology) are desirable but not essential
What the School Offers:
  • A welcoming, specialist SEMH environment
  • Strong focus on staff wellbeing and training
  • Supportive leadership and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Real opportunities to make a long-term difference in pupils’ lives
  • CPD in trauma-informed practice, behaviour management, and therapeutic approaches

If you are passionate about supporting young people with SEMH needs and want to help shape brighter futures, we’d love to hear from you.
