SEMH Lead - Exclusive Education : Job Details

Exclusive Education is looking to appoint an SEMH Lead to work across Key Srafe 3 through to Key Stage 4 at a Secondary School in Widnes supporting pupils in a mainstream school with Social Emotional Mental Health Needs.

SEMH Lead experience, will be essential in the role. Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the school's SEN policy. Supporting the identification of children with special educational needs. Writing EHCP and Referring students. Liaising with other providers, outside agencies, educational psychologists and external agencies.

In order to be considered for this SEMH Lead role we require you meet the following criteria;

• Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident
• Have previous experience of working with children in the last 2 years
• Excellent knowledge of the full curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Previous SEMH Lead experience
• Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs
• Two references working with children
• Hold a current DBS that is registered with the update service or be willing to apply for a new one
