Vacancy: Security Officer

Location: Yeovil, Somerset

Pay rate: £13.50ph

JHP Recruitment are seeking a Security Officer to join their client on a permanent basis, working to support a large manufacturing facility based in Yeovil, Somerset.

Main Accountabilities:

• Protecting a large manufacturing site, property, and site assets, whilst keeping both employees and visiting customers safe
• Carrying out regular foot patrols, both internally and externally
• Providing support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises
• Remaining alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening activity
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are always followed, recording and reporting all faults and hazards

Applicant Requirements:

• Valid UK driving licence
• 5-year employment references
• Full flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends
• Computer literate

Working hours:

• 42hrs a week
• 4 on 4 off days/nights rotating weekly
