An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the dynamic and vibrant environment of Security Contracts!
Salary: Up to £37,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically 2 days on-site per week, due to workload classification
Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.
Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:
This is a critical business area that supports the management of security clearances required for MBDA UK to hold governmental contracts and subcontracts, supporting domestic and international business.
You will be part of a small team processing requests to the MOD and dealing with day-to-day enquiries in relation to Security Contracts. In addition, you will be required to support the Security Contracts Manager in the successful implementation of the Security Contracts Strategy.
The role will involve completing and accurately recording security data and clearance requests, whilst also supporting the wider business in acquiring security clearances for their teams.
You will also be a point of contact for your internal customers, for any security contract enquiries and liaise with UK MOD and other external agencies, when appropriate.
Risk mitigation is key to the role!
What we're looking for from you:
Ideally experience of working in the Security and Defence industry, or similar industries where you may have encountered classified contracts and security risk management.
Professional meticulous approach with focus on accuracy
Able to act in the strictest of confidence with Security and Contracts data; integrity is paramount
Ability to challenge, negotiate and problem solve when required
IT competency, including Excel and Word and willing to learn new systems
Willingness to learn new standards and processes to apply best practice security
Desirable, but not essential:
Awareness and knowledge of classified Security contracts including the F1686, F680 and Security Aspects Letters process
Security awareness for the ongoing aftercare of security contracts
Presentational experience for the delivery of training
