Location: Wokingham, BerkshireContract Type: Term-time only 

Are you passionate about science and keen to support the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our dynamic science department at a thriving secondary school in Wokingham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and set up equipment and materials for practical science lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Support teaching staff during practical sessions and demonstrations.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure health and safety standards are upheld.
• Manage stock levels and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in the safe disposal of chemicals and biological waste.
• Support students with practical work when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• A science-related qualification (A-level or higher).
• Previous experience in a laboratory or school setting is desirable but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A proactive and flexible approach to work.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
