Reed Education is dedicated to providing Whole School Recruitment to Secondary Schools across Wyre & Fylde, Cumbria & Lancashire. We are currently seeking a dynamic Geography Teacher to join a supportive school starting in September. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons in Geography to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; teaching KS5 would be an advantage.
• Utilise strong subject knowledge to inspire and motivate students.
• Maintain effective classroom management.
• Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Be a positive role model, demonstrating compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
• Recent relevant experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4; experience at KS5 is advantageous.
• Excellent classroom practitioner with robust classroom management skills.
• Reliable, committed, and interested in contributing positively to the students and the school.
• Good interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
