French Specialist Teacher

• Salary Range: £168 - £232 per day
• Location: Rochdale
• Job Type: Part-time (1 day a week)

We are seeking a qualified French Specialist Teacher to join a secondary school in Rochdale. This part-time role involves teaching French to students at KS3 and KS4 levels. The position is initially available for one day a week until the October half term, with the possibility of extension.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver engaging and effective French lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels.
• Plan, prepare, and teach well-structured lessons that align with the curriculum.
• Assess and record students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the school's procedures and enforce school policies.
• Participate in school meetings and events as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.
• Proven experience in teaching French at secondary school level.
• Strong understanding of the KS3 and KS4 French curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and motivating learning environment.
• Must be available to start immediately and commit to the schedule until the October half term.
