Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver inspiring and engaging English lessons to students across different abilities.
- Develop and implement creative teaching strategies to foster student engagement and enhance learning outcomes.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Participate actively in curriculum development and contribute to school-wide literacy initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and support the continuous improvement of teaching standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualifications.
- Experience in teaching English at the secondary level is preferred.
- A strong understanding of the English National Curriculum and current educational practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
