About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sea Import Operator to join a freight forwarding company in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of a dynamic team, handling end-to-end sea import operations for a diverse client portfolio.Key Responsibilities:

• Managing sea import shipments from initial booking to final delivery.
• Liaising with shipping lines, hauliers, and overseas agents.
• Preparing and processing all necessary export documentation (Bills of Lading, customs entries, etc.).
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and customs procedures.
• Providing exceptional customer service and proactive communication to clients.
• Resolving any operational issues efficiently and effectively.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Sea Import Operator within a freight forwarding environment.
• In-depth knowledge of sea freight processes, documentation, and customs procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in freight forwarding software and Microsoft Office Suite.
