The Role

This is an excellent Scientific Sales Specialist, working for a rapidly growing company with an excellent reputation in their field. The Scientific Sales Specialist will use their background in chemistry or environmental science and experience selling complex solutions in the Scientific industry to take on the outbound sales for our clients chemical analysis systems. The ability to understand customers requirements on a technical level in order to demonstrate how the products meet them is the core of the role!

The Company

The Scientific Sales Specialist will join a fast growing company which designs and produces cutting edge chemical gas analysis systems used in a range of sectors. The Scientific Sales Specialist will contribute to a supportive team environment, which rewards hard work and innovative thinking. 

The role is primarily remote, with just one day per month in office. Regular travel to meet clients and demonstrate products is essential, as such you must have a full driving licence!

What’s Required?

The ideal candidate for the role will have some of the following:

• A scientific background is essential, with both academic qualifications and experience working in the industry being considered

• Strong sales experience, including with outbound sales

• Experience with complex solution selling, understanding client requirements and matching them with company products

• Experience selling capital equipment within industrial or commercial sectors is a big plus
