About the Role

As a Science Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the science department by preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment. You will work closely with teaching staff to enhance the delivery of the science curriculum and inspire a love of science in our students.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Organised, reliable, and proactive
  • Skilled in handling scientific equipment and materials
  • Knowledgeable about health and safety procedures in a lab setting
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills
You Will Need:
  • A Levels or NVQ Level 3 in Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (LATA), or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, COSHH, and safe chemical handling
  • ICT skills for research, communication, and data management
  • The ability to support students and staff with practical science work
